Our goal is to provide the latest news and quality information on topics such as growing your own produce and landscaping your yards. We get hand-on with products and write highly detailed guides for buyers so you can make sure you spend your money wisely.

Meet The Team

Oliver

 : Editor-in-Chief

Oliver Dale is Editor-in-Chief of GardenBeast and founder of Kooc Media Ltd, A UK-Based Online Publishing company. He has had a love of gardening for many years now and spends the spring to autumn months working on his own garden where he carries out one large project each year ( this year was decking & patio area ).

Oliver oversees the day to day running of the website & publication of our articles.

Nicholas Say was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where his family would go to the farmers’ market every weekend. He loves to garden and spent many years in South America in vegetable gardens that he owned. Nicholas thinks that plants are wonderful creatures that can give us all so much.

Nicholas is an experienced journalist and is in charge of news at GardenBeast.

Robin Watson

Robin owns his own Landscape Gardening company based in the UK and has over 10 years professional experience working outdoors, creating beautiful landscapes for his clients.

He is also a keen garden-grower and maintains his own fruit and vegetable gardens. He also has a level 3 Certificate in Practical Horticulture from The Royal Horticultural Society and is currently working on his first book about gardening.

Hollie Carter

Hollie is a life-long gardener, having started helping her Dad work on their yard when she was just 5. Since then she has gone on to develop a passion for growing vegetables & fruit in her garden. She has an affinity with nature and loves to share her knowledge gained over a lifetime with readers online.

Miruna

Miruna is an experienced content writer with a passion for gardening. She is the proud owner of an outdoor rose garden and an indoor collection of tiny succulents. She bought her first succulent 10 years ago – an adorable Echeveria Setosa. Now she owns more than 100 succulents and cacti of different colors, shapes, and sizes.

Miruna is a versatile writer and, as you might have guessed, her favorite topic is gardening.

Ana

Ana is an experienced writer and an urban gardener, making use of limited space on her balcony to grow vegetables every season. She got into gardening thanks to her grandmother, who introduced her to the wonderful world of succulents. Two of them still collect succulents as well as cacti together, and Ana is always on the lookout for rare (and colorful) varieties. She is currently occupied with growing avocado trees indoors.

Tina believes in working with Mother Nature while growing food on her allotment in Kent. She was gifted a trowel from her paternal Irish grandmother at a young age, grew strawberries with her Dad and learned about flowers from her Mum. Tina’s travel writing can be found in academic journals detailing plants observed in Brazil and Latin America.

Each article is checked by an editor with expertise in that area before publication and our guides are regularly checked and updated where necessary to ensure our information is always accurate.

We create a lot of our own graphics and illustrations but where we use existing images our writers are required to obtain assets which are within the public domain and link to the source of any images used.

We have the goal of becoming the number one, trusted and respected authority on news and informational guides within the homes & garden industry.

GardenBeast does not accept advertising at this time. If in future we decide to accept advertising, we will clearly mark it as such and advertisers will never affect our content or designate the direction of the site.
