Despite using the recommended nail size (18GA) and length, this will not pierce any type of wood I attempted more than 1/4". It is not well suited for anything more than arts and crafts in soft materials.
1. Comes with poor/very little instructions
2. 90% of the time the nailer jams or misfires and will not shoot out a nail, which requires me to stop what I'm doing, switch it off, pull out the nails and re-sitaute them, then turn back on and hope it works.
3. The other 10% that a nail actually does come out it does not go all the way into the surface and I have to use a hammer to finish pounding the nail in. I work with various types/densities of wood everyday, and even the lightest wood (on the highest power setting) it has difficulty going through all the way.
I have had this nailer for over 6 months and it's the exact same issues everytime I use it.
I will be purchasing a better name brand nailer as this one is practically useless.
