The nozzle on the wand is very precise. There are three different settings. When I use the fan setting, it does fan out the liquid evenly and completely. No sputtering, coughing and leaking or more liquid coming out in one place than the other. Once filled with air, the battery pump stops and picks up again when it senses low air pressure.
Unlike some spray pumps, the air pressure release valve is very easy to use. Cleanup is a breeze. This is a very good product.
Performance has been excellent. As with any powered pump, you build pressure far more quickly if the tank is full, with it coming to pressure in just a minute or so. It takes much longer to come to full pressure if the tank is filled with a gallon or less. But, there's enough pressure so that you can begin spraying even if the pump is still operating. Even though this has a 7.2v pump, the speed to build pressure is pretty close to the 20v Worx pump. It is a little noisier than the Worx pump but the sound is not excessive.
The area where the Worx pulls ahead is the battery. Having a removeable battery is a big plus since all batteries eventually lose their ability to take a charge. With the Scotts having an internal battery, once the battery goes you have to toss the whole thing out.
The Scotts pump head fits on some other tanks. I use it on a Smith R300 3 gallon sprayer without issue. But, while the Worx pump head fits fine on the Scotts tank, the Scotts pump head will not fit on the Worx tank. The threading is fine, but the shape of the Scotts pump doesn't allow it to screw down fully before hitting the top lip of the filler rim on the Worx.
In addition to not having a removeable battery, I wish this had more info as to charge level status. It has an indicator that tells you when you're at 25% of battery charge, but I'd like a more detailed level gauge as is found on the Worx (or other battery powered gear). I also am not thrilled with the rotating spray head. It works, but I prefer a more traditional spray head. The rotating head can be easily swapped out for a traditional head (I use the heads from the Smith sprayers since those have worked well for me for years).
Despite the few cons, this is still an excellent powered sprayer that has solid build quality, good performance, and is a good value for the price. Five stars.

December in Tomball was exceptionally warm. Many days were above 80 degrees. The weather was so pleasant that we usually have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on our patio. Of course, some silvery clouds have a dark side. The warm temperature, less competition from the dormant Saint Augustine grass, and less shade from the various plants have created an exceptionally healthy environment for weed growth. I should add that we temporarily left our garden beds with minimal mulch (which would have helped reduce weeds).
My assistant enjoys spraying weeds, so years ago, I used a hand truck to help her haul the two gallons of weed killer mix around. At the time, I added a twenty-foot piece of 1/4" PVC tubing to allow her to avoid constantly moving the hand truck.
That worked well, but to eliminate hand-pumping, several months ago, we purchased a battery-powered Scotts 190567 lithium-ion battery powered Pump 2-gallon sprayer.
Now that we have used it for several months, I am comfortable recommending this sort of sprayer, at least for those of us who are getting older. On a semi-related subject, I recently read that a man who was referred to as elderly. He was 75, and I am 77. The other day, I asked my grandson to pass a few footballs. I threw a football over our roof (to my grandson). A UPS driver noticed me. He shouted out, "You throw like Arron Rogers." That made my day, even if I think the UPS guy was far more than generous. I have never met a UPS driver I didn’t like. I should mention that I had a bit of trouble sleeping because of a sore arm. I am sure Arron Rogers has some painful nights too.
Here are a few things worth mentioning:
1. I used 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD PVC tubing. This exceptional tubing has lasted for well over five years and is going strong. While the original hand pump was easy to adapt to, the new pump has a larger hose, so I had to purchase a barbed reducing coupling from the larger nozzle to the 1/4" PVC. Unfortunately, I don't remember the larger hose ID (but maybe 3/8").
2. I used a Dollar Tree clamp (drilling a hole in one handle) to suspend the gloves.
3. The PVC tubing to hold both the nozzle and the hand clippers is 2".
4. Some of the tie-wraps are stainless steel. Most ordinary tie-wraps will fail after a few years in sunlight. One good thing about plastic tie-wraps is that they are easy to change if a particular location doesn't work out.
5. Limited 3-year warranty.
6. These are the general storage requirements:
a. Release the pressure and remove the battery/compressor unit after each use.
b. Disconnect the charger after three hours of charging as required in the instruction book.
c. Cover the tank to prevent bugs and dirt from dropping into the mixture.
d. Recharge the battery every three months when not used.
Now that we have used it for several months, I am comfortable recommending this sort of sprayer, at least for those of us who are getting older. Easy to use and easy to clean.
Anyway, the Scotts 190567 sprayer performed reasonably well. Note that this will not spray like a regular garden hose with a spray nozzle attached. The spray volume and force from the Scotts sprayer is indeed light, but it is enough to get the job done. I covered 10 sq meters in about 5-10 min. Considering the price and ease of use, it's worth getting, in my opinion. The rechargeable pump is a great feature.
However, one aspect to consider for any product is its durability. As I have only tried this product once, I can't say how well it will hold up in years to come. But based on other people's positive reviews, it was worth it for me taking a chance and buying it. Looking at the simplicity and durability of the design, I'm thinking it should perform fine over the next few years.
